Yorks join Kill Chicago and Jerry Faye for a Friday night performance at The Capital Complex.

It’s been more than a year and a half since the last time Yorks stepped on stage to perform. After an August 2016 “Come see us play before Josh moves to the UK” performance, the band entered into a lengthy hiatus. While frontman Josh Noseworthy was away, the remaining members continued performing with several other groups including Chips, Deep Fryer and Young Satan in Love.

Over the past few weeks the band have been dusting off their repertoire in preparation for this weekend’s return to the stage.

“We’re pretty excited! It’s great to be making music with the guys again,” said Noseworthy. “We knocked off the cobwebs and even have a few new tunes coming along. We have a new addition to the group too, so lots of good stuff happening. This is our first show in well over a year, and we’re pretty stoked to be playing it with Jerry-Faye and Kill Chicago.”

Yorks formed in 2015 and have released two EPs to date – Yorks I and Yorks II.
