Ontario prog rockers return to the Maritimes to perform as part of the Greville Tapes Music Club Revue and the Shifty Bits Circus.
Last spring, Ontario’s WHOOP-Szo set up camp in Fredericton for a few weeks as Flourish Festival’s artists in residence. During their stay, the band was given an opportunity to write and record with Sackville based musician Jon McKiel as part of Greville Tapes Music Club, a creative project challenging artists to write, record and tour new music (you can hear the impressive results of their efforts here).
Since then, the band has toured to British Columbia and back and are now set to make their East Coast return to reunite with McKiel and the rest of the Greville Tapes family for a showcase performance as part of Sappyfest XI.
In anticipation of their arrival, we’re sharing a third video from a recording session the band did with Grid City Magazine this past May at the Shifty Bits Cult’s headquarters in Fredericton.
