Saint John’s Local 107.3 FM are on the hunt for a new head honcho.
After nine years at the station, 107.3 FM’s Brian Cleveland is stepping down as station manager.
“It’s been fun, but it’s time to try something different,” said Cleveland. “It’s difficult to even attempt to do justice in describing the amazing opportunities I’ve been given over my nine year tenure at Local 107.3FM. It’s been a blast working in community radio and non-profit arts & culture with a really dedicated, small, passionate team of staff and an ever-growing body of volunteers.”
The announcement came earlier this week via a post on the station’s website with the heading, Join Our Team.
Although he will be leaving his role, Cleveland plans to stay involved as a host and volunteer, a relationship that dates back 12 years.
“I might be moving on as Station Manager, but I definitely plan to continue volunteering with Local-FM as a programmer as I have been since 2005,” he said. “I’ve been so proud to see the growth of Saint John’s small, but mighty community radio station especially in the immense development of our staff, volunteers, and their local programming. 2017 has already been a very busy year (as evidenced in our mid-year report here) and there are some big projects in the works.”
Application deadline is August 25.
