Maritime dub ambassadors Weak Size Fish took to the streets of Fredericton to film their latest video. Roots of Creation is the second track of the band’s 2020 full-length album, The Drift.
In April of this year, in the midst of the COVID lockdown and all the uncertainty that came with it, Maritime dub ambassadors Weak Size Fish dropped the most focused and possibly the most anticipated album of their career. The Drift is a nine track album that beautifully captures “chill dub vibes, layers of memorable melodies and astounding full-band confidence.” The album is a well-balanced testament to one band’s collective understanding of ability and purpose.
Roots of Creation is the first official video to surface from the album. It’s playful and fun, and was shot by the band across various Fredericton-area (and other) locations. Check it out. It’s the sunshine you need today.
