Their latest video finds Pallmer continuing to explore their creative partnership with filmmaker Sarah Kierstead.

New music from Pallmer is something always worth celebrating. Ever since Mark Kleyn and Emily Kennedy began releasing music together in 2018, these two classically trained musicians have not only created a space for viola and cello to comfortably exists within circles traditionally occupied by rock’s usual suspects – bass, drums and guitar – but have also cultivated an audience from that same unlikely location. Along the way they’ve made numerous allies and formed new creative partnerships. Their relationship with Fredericton-based photographer and filmmaker Sarah Kierstead has helped develop a visual identity for Pallmer that reflects both the intimacy of their music and the solace it provides.
This week welcomed the arrival of the new single Bricks, with an accompanying video by Kierstead, filmed on stage at UNB’s Memorial Hall. The track was recorded, mixed and mastered by Corey Bonnevie.
