Music Runs Through It present an evening of songs and stories with Sleepy Driver, January 30 at Dolan’s Pub.
With a career that spans four full length albums, an EP and an album of remixes beginning with their 2011 debut Steady Now, Fredericton’s Sleepy Driver have carved out their own unique place among the city’s vast musical output.
Known for their exploratory approach to the time-tested boundaries that define many of alt-country and folk-rock’s most recognizable figures, Sleepy Driver, guided by principal songwriter and vocalist Peter Hicks, continue to find new paths through all-too-familiar territory.
In the next installment in Music Runs Through It’s ongoing Up Close & Personal performance series, Hicks and the band will perform a career spanning set complete with stories and an audience Q&A.
