Juno Award winning musician and storyteller includes three New Brunswick performances on winter tour.
James Keelaghan is one of those musicians who seems to have done it all. He has recorded a dozen albums, has won Juno Awards and international songwriting competitions, and has traveled the world playing music for the past three decades.
In a lot of ways, Keelaghan is the quintessential Canadian songwriter. He’s lived on the prairies, in big cities and in small towns between Alberta and Ontario. But through his many career highlights, he’s remained grounded and humble. Just read through his bio and you’ll see how down-to-earth he remains. Instead of the usual list of accolades and accomplishments, he instead mentions his love for history, his interest in science, and he openly shares his respect for a few people who have made an impact on his life – all presented as an engaging short story.
Keelaghan plays a solo performance January 10 in Sackville, NB before hitting the road with Dave Gunning for seven dates through the Maritimes.
