After an exhausting week of Harvest programming, the coming week allows lots of room to catch your breathe with most of this week’s events starting Thursday. So you have a few days to relax before we jump into performances by Petunia, Eugene Ripper, the Alex Bailiey Swing Band and others.  

Thursday 

CANCELLED: Cavedweller + Red Usurper at The Cap. 9 p.m. $10

Rock and Roll Bingo at The Cap. 7 p.m.

Open Mic at Maybee Brewing. 7 p.m.

Fredericton Artist in Residence Exhibition at the Charlotte Street Arts Centre. Opening reception at 4 p.m. Exhibition runs Sept. 23 – November 1. 

Petunia and the Minimalist Jug Band at Grimross Brewing Co. 8 p.m. $15/$20. 

Shared Stories Series at the Beaverbrook Art Gallery. 6:30-8:30 p.m. $25.

Anthony Gray at St. Louis Bar & Grill. 8 p.m.

Friday 

Resurgence: An NBCCD Staff and Faculty Exhibit. 3 p.m. George Fry Gallery. 

Billy Bonka (Electro swing set) + Pseudonaut + Afterglow at The Cap. 9 p.m. $10. 

Jim Axelrod Big Little Band at Fredericton Seniors Centre. 7 p.m. $10. 

The Good, the Bard and the Ugly at Charlotte Street Arts Centre. Doors at 7. Show at 8 p.m. By donation. 

Jesse Jenkins at York County Cider. 7 p.m. $5.

Saturday

Roadside Attraction is the newest exhibition from Connexion Artist-Run Centre on display at Gallery on Queen.

The Society of Canadian Artists‘ Annual Elected Members’ Exhibition is on display at Gallery 78.

Vita Plume: Patterns & Portraits is on display at the UNB Arts Centre.
