Event expands tasting menu, adds beer garden and live music.
Tasting NB is right around the corner, with the event to take place Saturday July 11, 2015 this first time event is excited to announce some additional features.
Presenting the event alongside The Capital Complex is newly formed New Brunswick Craft Alcohol Producers Association(NBCAPA). The purpose of this newly formed association is to act as the representative and formal voice for an expanding industry that includes micro breweries, meaderies, wineries, cider producers and distilleries.
Since the initial announcement additional NB producers have joined the event including: TrailWay Brewing Co., Grimross Brewing Co., Railcar Brewing Company, Pump House Brewery & Gillis of Belleisle Winery. Add this to a previously announced lineup that includes Picaroons, Big Axe, Petit Sault, Red Rover Cider, Pollen Angels Meade, Fil Du Roy Spirits and it will make for an exciting day of Tasting NB.
For the event, The Capital Complex will create the first ever beer garden atmosphere in Fredericton’s Tannery District.
“We’re pulling the cars out of the area and bringing in seating for our ticket buyers. They’ll be surrounded by 10+ different NB producers” says Wes Ward owner/operator of The Capital Complex.
The night doesn’t have to end early. The Capital Complex have brought on Dub Antenna. Fredericton’s own Dub Reggae group will be onsite for an evening of entertainment starting later that evening in Wilser’s Room as a post NB Tap Takeover Party.

Food is available at many of the local businesses located in the Tannery. Chez Riz, Dimitri’s, Dolan’s Pub, Jack’s Pizza all offer a wide range of food that can be brought into the event. *Rain venue will be located inside The Capital Complex.
