Saint John’s leading community theatre company brings a holiday classic to the stage.
A new season from Saint John Theatre Company opens this week with a production of the timeless holiday classic, Miracle on 34th Street, adapted and directed by Bob Doherty. The show will be staged at Imperial Theatre, November 23-26.
“Miracle On 34th Street reminds us to have faith not just in our own goodness and in the goodness of others but in those intangible principles of morality and ethics that we can all strive to live by so that when all the systems fail we still have hope, security, and stability in our lives,” says Doherty.
The show will run from November 23-26 with performances at 7:30 p.m., plus an additional 2 p.m. matinee performance on Saturday.
“I believe the audience will really enjoy this take on the holiday classic. We don’t get too syrupy, or too wry and the show moves along like an illuminated holiday train,” said Kevin Greaves who plays Dr Pierce & Judge Henry X. Harper in the show.
