SWFF celebrates 19 years of independent films and filmmakers. November 7-10 in Fredericton.

This year’s Silver Wave Film Festival lineup has been announced.  Set to take place November 7-10, New Brunswick’s largest celebration of independent film and filmmakers will screen 70 films over four days including 44 films made right here in the province.

Spread out over five city venues, this year’s SWFF will feature a mix of feature-length films, documentaries and a wide array of short films with five separate events spotlighting short films from New Brunswick, Canadian and and international filmmakers.

And before the Festival officially gets underway, the New Brunswick Provincial Archives will host a retrospective night of film screenings in celebration of the New Brunswick Filmmaker’s Co-Operative’s 40th anniversary. A driving force for film in the province, the NBFC offer training and resources to filmmakers from across New Brunswick and deliver the SWFF each and every year.
