Andrew Sisk hosts the 2020 Shivering Songs Songwriter’s Intensive. Applications are now being accepted.
Shivering Songs and the Charlotte Street Arts Centre have once again partnered to offer a one-of-a-kind songwriter development workshop during the 2020 festival coming up in the new year.
The Shivering Songs Songwriter’s Intensive provides artists with a safe, supportive environment to write, collaborate, take risks and develop their craft among their New Brunswick songwriting peers. Each edition of the Festival concludes with a performance of new material developed through the two day workshop.
This year’s event will be facilitated by Chipman-born musician Andrew Sisk. Andrew has been a staple of the New Brunswick music scene since the mid-2000s playing in bands like The Sleepless Nights, Share, Jenn Grant and The Prospectors Union before moving to Montreal to begin his solo projects Andrew Sisk & Coco et co.
Applications for the 2020 Songwriter’s Intensive are now open. All interested artists are encouraged to apply.
The workshop takes place Feb. 1 and 2 at the Charlotte Street Arts Centre.
