As COVID case counts continue to climb, the Bahamas performance originally planned for this month has been moved to April 13.
As if planning a music festival wasn’t already enough work, event organizers now have to factor unavoidable cancellations and postponements into every decision they make, while also keeping in mind the unfortunate reality of knowing everything they’ve been working towards over the past year may not actually happen.
Last Friday, the team behind Shivering Songs shared the news that the Bahamas performance originally planned for this month has now been moved to April 13. The Fredericton performance is one of nine Atlantic Canadian Bahamas’ shows that have been rescheduled. See the full list of additional date changes here.
This announcement is potentially the first in a coming wave of event rearrangements as organisers work to deliver as much of their planned programming as possible while also placing the health and safety of artists and audiences at the forefront of each new decision.
All tickets for the original performance will be honoured for the April 13 show.
More announcements are expected later this week.
