Fredericton-based record label and management company She Said Feck Records have a big weekend coming up. Three of the four bands currently on the SSF roster will start the weekend off with a show at The Capital Complex in Fredericton.
Chips, Heat $heets and Sound Drown get the weekend started on a loud note beginning at 10 p.m. The following night, Sound Drown move on to play dates in Ontario and Quebec while Chips and Heat $heets head to Pepper’s Pub in Saint John for a show with the Halifax quartet The Flakes.
“We are extremely excited for this two show She Said Feck showcase,” said Heat $heets’ bassist Alex Fredericks. “Shout-outs to Chips, Sound Drown and The Flakes. We hope everyone brings their dancing shoes!”
Heat $heets are a Fredericton-based garage rock trio and one of the most recent additions to the SFF roster.
“Kate Butler [SSF founder] has been amazing to work with,” said Fredericks. “She has been super supportive and we are grateful to have her in our corner. We are currently working on recording our debut EP with our friend Keegan Dobbelsteyn, and with support from Music NB and She Said Feck Records. We are hoping to release our EP Fall of 2019.”
