Musician, visual artist, writer, and co-founder of Sonic Youth, Lee Ranaldo, has been added to the lineup for SAPPYFEST 19.
A true pioneer of sound exploration and pushing sonic boundaries with his experimental approach, Ronaldo will treat Sappy audiences to an intimate performance on Saturday, August 03 in the Mount Allison University Chapel using their massive, custom-built Casavant Frères pipe organ. The performance will also feature accompanying visuals by Leah Singer.
Sappyfest is also excited to unveil a few more additions to their lineup including acclaimed poet Sue Goyette, ASKO presented in partnership with Victory Pool, and a pop-up dark room spearheaded by photographers Natalie Baird and Jonny Lush.
The full lineup for Sappyfest 19, which takes place in Sackville, New Brunswick from August 02-04, is as follows:

Much more than a music festival, Sappyfest 19 also hosts artist talks, film screenings, karaoke, the Kids Corner Power Jam, a pancake breakfast, readings, the Sappy Street Market, workshops, a Zine & Craft Fair, and more.
