SJTC unveils an impressive range theatre, comedy and music as part of upcoming season.
The Saint John Theatre Company (SJTC) unveiled its 2017-2018 last week with SJTC Artistic Director Stephen Tobias and SJTC Board President Dean Turner announcing productions and performances planned for a variety of stages including Saint John’s Imperial Theatre and the company’s own BMO Studio Theatre between November 2017 and June 2018.
The company’s 28th season features 11 different theatre events including three Main Stage productions, three Studio Series productions including a three date performance by Germany’s Theatre Konstanz, and a Canadian Stages series that will feature work by comedic author David Sedaris, multi-media productions by Villians Theatre (Halifax) and a special Canadian comedy show written by Mary Walsh and Ron James among others.
The 2017-2018 season will also see the continuation of the company’s Live @ The BMO Music Series with performances by The Joel Leblanc Trio, Brent Mason, Matt Minglewood and others.
