Currently on tour in support of their new album Ms. Behave, Saskatoon-based trio Rosie & The Riveters will be passing through the province in April with a show at the Fredericton Playhouse on April 11.
The group’s new album Ms. Behave, coming out April 6, is a collection of gritty, sultry, vintage-inspired folk anthems featuring collaborations with songwriters like Royal Wood and Matthew Barber.
“Rosie & the Riveters put on one of the best live shows you’ll ever see – you’ll go home with a big smile on your face.”
– Rich Terfry, CBC Radio 2
Ms. Behave was produced by Shivering Songs’ alumni Joshua Van Tassel, who performs regularly with David Myles’ band as well as with music journalist/podcaster Laurie Brown on their show, Pondercast.
Blending sophisticated harmonies, body percussion, and scintillating dance moves together with a healthy dose of humour, Rosie & The Riveters are quickly earning their place within folk music circles across Canada and the United States.
