A month before they visit Fredericton to perform as part of Flourish Festival 2018, Montreal-based ambient electro ensemble Property// share the first single from their forthcoming album, ‘In Contentment’.

Property// have a new album in the works. In Contentment is the trio’s first release since relocating from Fredericton to Montreal in the fall of 2017. Formed by musician Charles Harding (Cellarghost), Property// began as a solo endeavor but has since evolved into a trio with the addition of longtime friends and musical collaborators Luke Wilson (guitar) and Emily Kennedy (cello).
“In Contentment is a reflection on memories of lost loved ones, recurring dreams, struggles of self-acceptance, moving to Montreal, biking, winter sadness, and doing lots of dishes,” said Harding. “It’s a mournful release but always leans on optimism.”
The forthcoming eight track album is set for release April 20 and is the first Property// recording written as a trio.
