The Plain Site Theatre Festival returns to the St. Thomas University campus March 17-19.
The Plain Site Theatre Festival returns to the St. Thomas University campus March 17-19 to present new LGBTQIA2+ centered plays with the aim of fostering queer visibility in our arts scene and on our campus. Curated by actor, director and all around theatre artist Alex Rioux, in partnership with The Black Box Theatre & Solo Chicken Productions, PSTF encourages all new, emerging or established actors who identify as LGBTQIA2+ to audition for the 2022 festival.
In-person auditions will take place Wednesday November 3. Video submissions will be accepted to ensure accessibility.
Audition in Person
In-person auditions will be held from 5-10 p.m. on Wednesday November 3, 2021 in the Ted Daigle Theatre (ECH – 51 Dineen Drive, STU Campus)

Come 15 minutes BEFORE your audition time to the Ted Daigle Theatre. You do NOT have to be off-book. Bring your audition text with you and have fun!
Audition Remotely
If you are unable to come in person to the auditions you can submit a video submission.

Practice it a few times! You do NOT have to be off-book. Make some creative choices about staging, point of view, costume etc.
Have a friend take a video of you performing the piece or record it yourself.
