Three new exhibits are now on display at Gallery 78 including new work by Steven Rhude and classic work by celebrated painter Bruno Bobak.
An eclectic artist with a creative vision that goes beyond a typical painter’s singular definition of genre, Steven Rhude shares his view of the world in You Never Know, and shows how objects that appear common, even random at a surface level—a beaver on a road, a pool table, lighthouses, a goose, and buoys—are in fact more than they seem, bound together by his imagination and quintessential style.
To build a group exhibition, which brings together various styles, mediums, and themes, a central theme or purpose is required. This month, the string of continuity in this group exhibition lies in numbers: 3 by 3 features three artists, Anna Cameron, Stephen May, and Daniel Porter, each presenting three new artworks.
Bruno Bobak: Canadian Master is an exclusive collection of secondary market artworks from the late artist, showcasing works of various mediums and subject matter to celebrate the breadth of his artistic talent and vision.
These exhibitions are on display until Sunday, October 27, 2019.
