Common Ground explores the work of Glenn Hall and Jonathan MacDonald.
Glenn Hall and Jonathan MacDonald are kindred spirits. Both live, at least part of the time, in off-the grid cabins in the woods of New Brunswick. Both studied art at the Nova Scotia College of Art and Design (and subsequently rejected its focus on “Conceptual Art”), both love to paint the rustic rural landscapes they have chosen to call home.
Although their long friendship began with Glenn as the teacher and Jon as the precocious student, soon the influences flowed in both directions. This joint exhibition explores the art of how each has chosen to live and celebrates the common ground of their shared ideas and inspirations.
The exhibition begins April 1, 2016 (on-line March 29).
Note: Current Printmaking exhibition concludes Saturday, March 26.
