With plans underway for the 2021 edition of Festival 506, organizers have released a tentative schedule of events.
Plans are underway for this year’s Festival 506, set to take place October 21-24. Each year Music NB, the province’s music industry association, curates an extended weekend of events aimed at strengthening the careers of New Brunswick songwriters and musicians while providing valuable exposure opportunities through networking sessions, meetings with industry experts, and of course, live performances.
Last year in the midst of COVID-19 precautions, organizers went above and beyond to host online networking events and showcases in support of a wide range of New Brunswick music makers. This year is shaping up to follow a similar path with a mix of live performances, all-day showcases on demand, and several networking events for participating members.
Last week, the Festival 506 team shared a first look at this year’s format and issued a call for delegates.
