Music NB has announced Caraquet as the host community for the 2018 edition of Festival (506). MNB executive director Jean Surette made the announcement today via Facebook Live.
“We’re really happy to be going into the Acadian Peninsula for Festival (506) 2018,” said Surette. “We’d like to thank all the folks who applied. It was really enriching to see all the enthusiasm around our event.”
Festival (506) 2018 will take place October 11-14, 2018.
Festival (506) is an annual celebration of New Brunswick musicmakers and supporters, organized by Music NB, the province’s official music industry association. The festival takes place in a different community each year presenting a wide range of showcase and development opportunities for New Brunswick musicians as well as several live performances in venues throughout each host community.
