Motherhood’s new album, Dear Bongo, will official be released March 1 via Forward Music Group.
It’s been a long time coming but the day is finally here. Fredericton art-rock trio Motherhood have finally revealed the details surrounding their new album. Dear Bongo, the follow-up to 2016’s Baby Teeth, is being released in North America via the Halifax-based label Forward Music Group.
The announcement was made yesterday through the long running Chicago-based pop culture magazine, Pop Matters. The announcement also included the video premiere for the track Bird Chirp, the album’s second single. The album’s first single, Pick of the Pugs, was released last fall.
Motherhood will be playing a pair of local release shows in March including a hometown all-ages show before heading south for festival dates in New York and Idaho.
Dear Bongo will officially be released March 1, 2019 in the usual formats and will also receive a limited run (300 copies) on coloured vinyl. Pre-orders are now open via FMG.
