Motherhood will be getting out on the road next month playing shows in Fredericton, Halifax and Moncton with Montreal post-rockers Yoo Doo Right.
Here’s a double bill to get excited about. Motherhood, one of Atlantic Canada’s most exciting live bands, will be teaming up with Montreal’s noise-driven, post-rock powerhouse Yoo Doo Right for a trio of shows in early March.
Motherhood have been working with producer Kyle Cunjak and are expected to release the follow-up to their 2019 Forward Music Group debut, Dear Bongo, sometime later this year.
Yoo Doo Right’s latest album, Don’t Think You Can Escape Your Purpose (Mothland), was released in May of 2021 and has been described as Metz meets My Bloodly Valentine meets Godspeed You! Black Emperor meets late era krautrock.
In short, this is the tour we need right now.
Upcoming Performances:
March 3 | Moncton, NB | Xeroz Arcade Bar
March 4 | Fredericton, NB | The Cap
March 5 | Halifax, NS | Radstorm
