Industry Pathways aims to provide support to live music workers for training, mentorship and skill development.
Industry Pathways is a dual-focused initiative aimed at providing support to New Brunswick live music workers for training, mentorship and skill development.
The project has two components aimed at the live music sector, set to begin running until March 2023. Artists, venues, festivals, and current or aspiring live music workers can access support through in two ways:
INTERNSHIP COMPONENT (DEADLINE: 28 NOV)
This component provides wage stipends to individuals and organizations for 12-week internships in which the individuals receive specialized training and work experience in the live music sector. Deadline to apply: 28 NOV 2022.
EXPERT ACCESS COMPONENT (COMING SOON)
This component provides access to advice, mentorship and services from nationally recognized professionals. Participants can book up to three hours with the professional of their choosing – including a public accountant, entertainment lawyer, mental health practitioner, digital marketing consultant, and other music industry experts.
