Mauno return to the East Coast after two months on the road in support of their sophomore album, Tuning.
Nova Scotia four-piece Mauno have been exploring the boundaries of pop’s catchy, engaging melodies for the past three years now. This fall the band released their sophomore full-length, Tuning, and have been on the road ever since spending October in Europe before returning to Canada in early November to begin a national tour.
Often referred to as experimental due to the lack of any truly fitting form of categorization, the band’s approach to songwriting reimagines the role of a song’s structure as a tool for conveying tone and message.
If music was architecture, Mauno’s four-walls-and-a-roof would be built almost entirely of windows and doors offering new possibilities at every turn.
Tuning was released October 12, 2017.
