Jerry-Faye’s latest single, I Should Have Guessed, is her first new release since her 2017 debut and the first to feature a full band.
It’s been almost two full years since Jerry-Faye released her beautiful debut album, In Sum. In that time she has performed countless shows as a solo artist, eventually shifting her live shows to include a full ensemble. Backed by guitarist Dylan Ward (David in the Dark/Brookside Mall), bassist Kevin Belyea (David in the Dark/Hot Garbage Players) and drummer Liam Bunin, I Should Have Guessed is Jerry-Faye’s first new track recorded with these musicians and the first single from her forthcoming EP.
The release of this melancholic summer love song is supported by the above video filmed by Crystal Drew in Shediac, N.B.
Jerry-Faye will celebrate the of her new EP on August 9 when she joins Jane Blanchard and Whoop-Szo for a show at The Capital.
