Confetti is the first single from Fox’s forthcoming album recorded and produced by Daniel Ledwell at his Echo Lake Studios.

Back in April, Kylie Fox released her latest single Confetti, paired with a live performance video filmed and recorded at Outreach Productions in Fredericton. Since the song’s April 1 release, Fox and her band enlisted the help of award-winning Fredericton filmmaker Jillian Acreman to shoot an official video for the Daniel Ledwell produced track.
This latest video was filmed in Uptown Saint John with Fox assuming the role of the song’s main character arriving at band practice after a night on the town.
“The song tells the story about a fast romance and speaks to the nostalgia of novelty, how the newness of romance can fall and simply be swept away — like confetti,” she said.
This is the second collaboration between Fox and Acreman. The pair previously teamed up to create the video for the song Horny and Bored off Fox’s debut full-length album, Green, released in 2020.
“I feel like the vibe just aligns so perfectly,” said Acreman. “I never work without a script and shot lists and storyboards, but film isn’t on the page, it’s in the moment, and there’s something about this band and this music that invites play and exploration and discovery and it’s so energizing!”
Confetti is the first single from Fox’s forthcoming album currently in production and expected to arrive sometime in 2024.
