Klarka Weinwurm – Album Release Tour

Category: music 127

Sackville-based musician Klarka Weinwurm brings her first full album in ten years to Nova Scotia and New Brunswick over the coming month.

Matt Carter

Earlier this summer Klarka Weinwurm dropped Easy Days, her first new music in six years and her first full-length album in a decade. Inspired by the simplicity of life in Sackville, youth, and the inevitable change that comes with age, Easy Days finds Weinwurm reflecting on events and moments in her life, sometimes finding beauty in the most mundane situations like mindlessly flipping through the TV or cutting her own hair in the bathroom. Weinwurm’s ability to seize a moment and write about it plays a big role in shaping this collection of songs. Driven forward by rhythms that shift between overly simple and deceptively complex, Easy Days is an album full of fun songs that are highly relatable in their honest portrayal of the coming of age experience.

“Let’s go drink under the bridge tonight.”
