The Don Bosse Sextet to perform January 13 as part of Grimross Brewing Co.’s Jazz Night series.
For the past few years now, Grimross Brewing Company have been hosting semi-regular Jazz Night performances. The series began in 2016 with a performance by the Joel LeBlanc Trio and has since featured local and regional talent including Joyful Noise, Morohubu, The Amnesia Trio, Iguana and others.
This week, the Don Bossé Quartet becomes the Don Bossé Sextet when they take to the newly expanded Grimross stage on Saturday January 13 beginning at 8 p.m.
For the past two decades, the Don Bossé Quartet have been performing classic jazz standards at events throughout the region and have become known as one of Fredericton’s premiere jazz ensembles. The band’s current lineup includes Garry Hansen on guitar, Craig Woodcock on sax, Chad Ball on double bass and Don Bossé on drums.

The Don Bossé Quartet Equally at home providing the elegant ambiance for a reception, or wailing in front of an audience at jazz festivals such as the Harvest Jazz and Blues Festival and Edmundston’s Festival de Jazz and Blues, the Don Bossé Jazz Quartet revisits classic jazz standards with its own delicious blend of smooth Latin rhythms, funky grooves, cool jazz, and luscious ballads.
