Graeme Kennedy & Radiator make their formal introduction with One More Year, the first in a series of forthcoming singles from this new Fredericton-based ensemble.

Is there a difference between simply existing and truly living? What happens to our passions when life’s demands force them all into a corner or onto a shelf? Or even worse: into a box in the basement? The struggle is real, as the old saying goes.
Tapping into our collective urgency to get things done, to accomplish goals, and validate the importance of our existence in a world where creativity can be as much a needed distraction as it can a means of staying positive in the face of so much doubt, One More Year, the debut single from Graeme Kennedy & Radiator, hits hard with its exigency.
With obvious nods to Angus Young and Billy Gibbons, Kennedy’s tone and tempo remind us of the good days, when rock and roll was simple and life was an easy ride. Back before we had any idea of the sacrifices and the challenges that lay ahead. As the song’s tempo slowly increases and Kennedy’s pleas for more time turn from reflection to desperation – I’m prepping to blow right through the ceiling, I’ll leave the masses reeling if I can get whoever’s dealing to deal me in for one more spin, Gimme one more year – One More Year shifts from a lazy rock ballad to a call to action. So clever. So catchy. So vital. So relatable.
Sure thing, Graeme. I’ll give you more year. I’ll give you all the time you need. We all will.
