Matt Walls began releasing music as Go, Homeboy! back in early 2019, posting a handful of singles on his Soundcloud page. He’s been relatively quiet in 2020 as far as sharing new music goes, but last week he resurfaced with a new video and a new single. The Tale of the Mixtape is the title track from Go, Homeboy’s forthcoming debut album expected to be released before the end of the year.
Shot on location at Marshall Studios by Andrew Kelly with beats by Pseudonaut, The Tale of the Mixtape offers a solid introduction to Go, Homeboy with Walls’ laidback delivery and clever wordplay at the front of it all.
