This year’s Fundy Fringe Festival celebrates New Brunswick with performers from Saint John, Rothesay, Moncton and Fredericton.
(Saint John) The 2021 Fundy FRINGE Festival kicks off with the lottery-style selection of a dozen acts from the region. The ninth annual line-up will offer audiences a unique collection of edgy, out of the ordinary performance art from talent throughout the province.
Due to COVID-19 precautions, the Fundy FRINGE Festival will once again operate at a reduced capacity with local performers only. However, the festival is cautiously expanding to 12 acts in 2 venues this year.
“We will be presenting a diverse group of twelve shows from across New Brunswick including magic, drama, comedy, storytelling, music and more,” adds Drew Murdock, Festival Director. “I am eager to have patrons experience the fun and excitement of FRINGE once again this year, with even more venues, activities and shows than last year, bringing us closer and closer to a pre-pandemic festival.”

Saint John’s summer theatre festival will return August 16-21, 2021, making its home base at the BMO Studio Theatre, 112 Princess Street for live performances. Streaming options will also be available.
