Sussex instrumental prog rockers TheLeftovers make their Fredericton debut this week in support of their debut album Among Us, which arrived on streaming services today. Winner of the award for Outstanding Solo Show at the 2022 Fundy Fringe Festival, writer, director and performer Scott Shannon brings the latest chapter in his solo saga and the first of four winter/spring performances to Mem Hall. 7:30 p.m. View Event.
Amber Walls + Isobel Soderman at Grimross Brewing Co. | January 14
Amber Walls first wowed Fredericton audiences opening for Colin Fowlie at the Open Space Theatre back in November. From Blackville, Walls is one of the province’s brightest new voices in country and roots music. McLaggan & Palmer at The Tipsy Muse Café | January 14
A new year of live music at The Tipsy Muse Café gets underway this week with two veteran musicians and cornerstones of the local musical community. Back from the ashes of a Covid-19 comedy career, Derek Seguin is back out on tour with a vengeance. A frequent guest on CBC’s The Debaters, Seguin is easily one of Canada’s top comedic talents. View Event.
