The Fredericton High School Music Department will hold its Holiday Concert on Sunday, December 11 at 2 p.m. in the Tom Morrison Theatre.  Featured groups include the String Ensemble, Glee Choir, Concert Band, and Jazz Ensemble.

“This is a year of getting back to normal,” said FHS music teacher and Jazz Ensemble Director Craig Woodcock. “We have a full slate of concerts and events planned for the first time since the pandemic. This is our first holiday concert open to the public in three years. It’s one of our favourite events of the year, and usually our best crowd.”

Admission is by donation with funds going to support a spring trip involving all participating students.

“We’re planning an epic spring trip to Quebec and Montreal involving all of our ensembles for the first time ever,” said Woodcock. “We love sharing the hard work our students do all year round for the Fredericton community.”

Everyone is invited to enjoy the sounds of the season performed by Fredericton’s future and emerging music makers. In case of a storm the event will take place the following Sunday.
