Festival (506) Announce Initial Lineup

Music NB’s annual celebration of music makers and supporters takes place in Moncton, October 12-17, 2017.

Music NB has announced the lineup for the 11th edition of Festival (506), the organization’s annual celebration of New Brunswick music makers and supporters.  The four day event will welcome more than 30 musical acts from across the province to the city of Moncton for awards, performances and conferences October 12-15, 2017.

“Those of us working in the music industry know all the incredible work our New Brunswick artists are doing,” said Jean Surette, executive director of Music NB (MNB). “It’s a pleasure for us to offer a stage for them to shine!” 

Each year, the Music NB team work with regional representatives and industry professionals to create a weekend designed to both celebrate and inspire New Brunswick musicians. With conference topics covering everything from grants and funding opportunities to marketing and touring, one-on-one sessions with industry professionals, artist showcases and an awards event, Festival (506)’s programming includes something for everyone no matter what side of the stage you’re on.

The list of performers announced for the 2017 event include Adyn Townes, George Belliveau, Mike Biggar, Brittany McQuinn, Joey Robin Haché, Ryan Hillier, Cédric Vieno, Kendra Gale, Seconde Nation, CHIPS, Kevin MacIntyre, Spoutnique, Danny Boudreau, Kill Chicago, The Backyard Devils, David in the Dark, Ladd & Lasses, The Divorcees, Dillon Ryan, Lionsault, The Motorleague, Maggie Savoie, Melissa Hunt, The Galpines and Little You, Little Me.
