Fredericton’s emerging musician’s festival, Fest Forward, will take place October 2-4 at the Charlotte Street Arts Centre.
Fest Forward will go ahead as planned this fall. Presented and organized by the Charlotte Street Arts Centre, this three day event provides showcase and professional development opportunities for new and emerging New Brunswick musicians with mentorship and support provided by some of the province’s industry experts.
The only festival of its kind in the province, Fest Forward has supported a number of musicians from diverse backgrounds over the years including Tooth & The Fang, Colourful Language, Den Mother, Jerry Faye and many more.
Though slightly altered to accommodate COVID health and safety practices, this year’s festival will offer participants a chance to perform on stage at the Jim Myles Auditorium, have a promotional performance video shot and edited and attend key industry workshops. Participants will also gain a one year membership to Music NB and be offered the chance to perform at the next East Coast Music Festival.
Space in the 2020 festival will be limited to six participating artists or acts. Interested artists may apply to participate in Fest Forward 2020 HERE.
Fest Forward takes place October 2-4, 2020.
