It’s another big week for New Brunswick music. This time around we’re being treated to the debut release from Fredericton-based garage blues psycho-boogie trio, Janowskii.
Formed in 2016 at the tail end of a serious bender, Janowskii guitarist Keith Hallett and drummer Drew Budovitch began making music together on Sunday mornings as a way to keep their Saturday nights in check. The duo would later round out the band’s lineup with the addition of bassist Matt Legere of The Waking Night.
With a new album set to launch this week, the band are putting the finishing touches on securing dates for their first major Eastern Canadian tour which will see Janowskii playing throughout the Maritimes, Quebec and Ontario this fall. Full tour details are expected to be announced later this week.
Te celebrate the album’s release, Janowskii have teamed up with former Shifty Bits cohorts The Waking Night and Motherhood for an album release show Friday August 31 at the Capital Complex.
