David Myles’ annual Singing For Supper fundraiser will take place December 20 on Youtube.
For the first time in its eleven year history, David Myles’ annual Singing For Supper fundraiser event will be held online. Created in collaboration with CBC to raise money for local food banks, the annual holiday tour which often featured live performances before an audience of Christmas shoppers has been adapted to accommodate current health and safety measures due to COVID-19.
Myles posted the following message to his Facebook page earlier this week to share the news.
“You probably already know how much I love singing Christmas songs. It’s weird. I didn’t always. But once I started doing it each year it really became part of the tradition for me. And something that I love each time it comes around. Making the Christmas album was still one of the best recording experiences I’ve ever had. And doing Singing For Supper over the last 10 years has been unreal. All reasons why we’re doing Singing For Supper again this year!! Join me this Sunday night at 6:30pm AST and help raise money for our food banks.”
Myles has also announced a string of New Brunswick performances coming up in February. Full details below.
