Fredericton’s only artist-run-centre is looking to fill a number of vital positions on its board of directors.
This past summer, Connexion ARC welcomed artist Emily Blair as its latest Artistic Director. The artist-run-centre is now looking to rejuvenate its board of directors and fill a few key positions including president, vice president, and student representative.
Qualified candidates will have the skill sets, resources, and/or enthusiasm necessary to assist us in the sustainable, transparent, and efficient governance of Connexion ARC. Our Board of Directors consists of local artists and art appreciators and represents the interests of the Fredericton contemporary arts community.
Responsibilities include:
- Attending monthly meetings
- Participating in sub-committees
- Jurying applications
- Assisting in the governance of the organization
As an organization of primarily settler heritage, both at the time of its founding and over years of leadership, and in acknowledging the long-standing systems that perpetuate patriarchy and white supremacy in the art world, we especially encourage applications from individuals who identify as BIPOC, LGBTQ2+, or persons living with a disability.

Please also include a few things about yourself, your background, and what you can bring to the board. Nomination emails will be shared directly with the Board of Directors which will form a selection committee.
