Cinema Politica Fredericton present “Lowdown Tracks”

Lowdown Tracks (Shelley Saywell / Canada / 2015 / 86 ‘) | Friday, Mar. 31 at 7:00pm at Conserver House | 180 Saint John St., Fredericton.

A celebration of street music and survival with those who chose to live on the outside. Inspired by depression-era folk songs, filmmaker Shelley Saywell and singer and activist Lorraine Segato set out to document the music and stories of those who live on the margins of society and bare their souls through their songs on the streets of Toronto.

There will be an optional discussion after the film with members of co-hosting group, Fredericton’s Community Action Group on Homelessness. Films are open to everyone. Screenings  are free but donations welcome. Conserver House is wheelchair accessible but the washrooms are up the stairs.
