Show Your Support for Fredericton’s Community Radio Station
Tune in to CHSR’s 12 hour Radio-A-Thon on Saturday Match 25 and show your support for the station by making a donation towards this year’s fund drive. Hear some of the station’s favourite hosts discuss their programs and interview each other as they rally the community in support of the station. There will be special guests stopping by throughout the day and more than a few surprises.
“There will be a whole bunch of hosts in during day,” said Erin “Bondo” Bond, Fredericton’s music cheerleader and host of many popular programs at the station. “We’ll be live on the air for 12 hours talking and encouraging listeners to check out our Indiegogo campaign.”
There will also be a special live studio session with Nova Scotia’s award-winning singer/songwriter, Dave Gunning taking place between 1:30pm and 2:00pm in Studio D. Everyone is welcome to stop by and enjoy the performance.
Bond says the day will be a fun, relaxing event and a great way to get to know some of your favourite CHSR program hosts.
“I have a two-hour time slot and if anyone wants to stop in and get on the air, feel free.”
Hosts from The Rosie Morning Show, Epic, Python’s Paradise, Where Monsters Dwell, The Crazy Train and several others will be taking the mic during the event playing music, discussing the campaign and talking all things CHSR.
“We’re all pulling together because the fund drive is so important to the station,” said Bond. “I’m also excited just to have the chance to hang out with other hosts I don’t get to see regularly.”
