‘Most Medicated’ is the lead track off the band’s forthcoming release, ‘Self Loathe’.

Butcher have some new music on the way. Last week the band shared the track Most Medicated,the first single from the forthcoming EP, Self Loathe, and their first new music since dropping their debut in December of 2017.
For this recording Butcher have once again teamed up with engineer Corey Bonnevie at Saint John’s Monopolized Studios to handle engineering, mixing and mastering duties.
Most Medicated finds the band harnessing the raw energy that defined their debut recording and by doing so, they’ve crafted a more polished sound matched equally by the recording’s mix and overall production. The guitars are slightly less aggressive this time around, allowing for stronger, clearer voicing between instruments, while the rhythm sections remains a driving force for the band.
All this to say, Butcher have grown over the past year. Have a listen. I’m looking forward to hearing the complete EP.
Self Loathe will officially be released March 20, 2019.
