Sean One returns to the mic with League of My Own, the first single from his upcoming debut for Black Buffalo Records.

It’s been a long time since Fredericton hip hop artist and producer Sean One stepped up to the mic to record some new songs. For the better part of the past decade, he has kept a relatively low profile, rarely appearing on stage and instead, choosing to sharpen his production skills alone in his basement studio. To date, he has released three albums of beats and several singles, has contributed words and music to other artist’s albums and has produced records for Monark and his First Words bandmate Above. He stays busy.
For the past year or more, rumours of a new Sean One album have been circulating through the local music community. Those rumours were confirmed recently when Sean One shared a handful of new tracks for a live session at Black Buffalo Records in Halifax.
Today, BBR posted the single League of My Own, the first official track from the Sean One’s BBR debut, Development, set to arrive November 15. Watch for it.
