Coming In Hot is the latest single from Fredericton’s After the Wreck, taken from the band’s forthcoming EP expected to be released later this year.
After years of playing hard rock in several bands including Moment of Inertia and Morohubu, musicians Pete Lockhart and Randy Ross formed After the Wreck in 2021. While they both retain a love for harder edged music, their latest project provides an opportunity to slow things down (slightly) and let each song’s lyrics speak a little louder than the amps on stage.
The group’s current lineup features Lockhart (guitar/vocals), Ross (drums), Paul MacIntosh (keys) and Jeff Lockhart (bass).
Over the weekend, After the Wreck shared their first new single of the year with Coming In Hot, a song about love, connections and the quick passing of time.
The single is supported by a video shot in and around the Fredericton area with scenes in Odell Park and the Tongue and Groove Music Room at Crabbe Mountain.
Watch for the full EP coming later this year.
