Spearhead Theatre announce 24 hour play project.
Spearhead Theatre has announced its next project. Following a successful debut earlier this fall with the company’s inaugural production of the John Pielmeier play Agnes of God, company organizers have announced the wonderfully titled event, #24hrSHTshow.
As one might guess, this 24 hour event is aimed at challenging theatre artists to write, rehearse and perform an original work of theatre in a very narrow window of time. The event is open to individuals and/or groups, and each group will be given a few elements that must be included in their story. Outside of that, the door is wide open.
There will be prizes. There will be judges. There will be an award ceremony. There will be fun.
Anyone interested in taking part in this event must pre-register. The cost is $15 and the details are below.
The final performance will take place November 30 at the Théâtre Bernard-Poirier (Le Centre communautaire Sainte-Anne) and is open to everyone. Admission is by donation.
