A Charlotte Street Reunion

The Charlotte Street Arts Centre will host a reunion for all past students of the Charlotte Street Elementary School and historical exhibition on August 16. 

The Charlotte Street Arts Centre has announced an upcoming reunion event for all former alumni of the Charlotte Street School. The reunion will feature an exhibit comprised of archival photos and documents related to the school, in addition to food and drink, live music, and the opportunity for former classmates to reunite and reminisce.

The Charlotte Street Elementary School was opened in 1885 and operated until 1975 and is the oldest school building in Fredericton. 

The Charlotte Street Arts Centre officially opened for business as an arts facility in 2005, and in 2006 became part of the Local Historic Places Register (municipal). The Charlotte Street Arts Centre acquired Provincial Historic Site status in 2009.

The reunion and corresponding exhibition will take place August 16 from 4-9 p.m. Alumni can register to attend by visiting www.charlottestreetarts.ca
