Local promoter and live music enthusiast Emma Chevarie has partnered with York County Cider to begin booking music at the company’s Main Street tap room.
Two years after she began booking intimate live music performances at Corked Wine Bar in Fredericton’s downtown, local promoter Emma Chevarie is now ready to expand her Music Runs Through It performance series to include a new stage on Fredericton’s northside. Under a new partnership with York County Cider, Chevarie will now help bring live music to the company’s new taproom located at 38 Main Street.
“They’ve set up a great space in their taproom on Main Street and have gone to the efforts of building a stage which I’m happy to program,” said Chevarie. “I feel the room will provide a unique listening space and can’t wait for the inaugural show next month.”
Last fall, York County Cider relocated to the city’s northside leaving their original 418 York Street location. In December of 2017, the local cider producers opened Ed’s Garage and Taproom, joining a growing list of taprooms stretched along Main and Union Streets.
The first show at Ed’s Garage and Taproom will take place March 14 with a performance by Saint John musician Brent Mason. Programming will continue at Corked Wine Bar as well. See a full list of upcoming shows below.
