Anniversary shows featuring The Olympic Symphonium and Share announced for Halifax and Fredericton.
It’s been ten years since Forward Music Group released its first recording. Where does the time go? Since releasing The Fussy Part’s BEN EP back in January of 2007, the ‘little label that could’ has continued to plot (and maintain) an impressive course through an every-evolving industry, confidently delivering new music that challenges and comforts.
Born in Fredericton and now based in Halifax, FMG will be celebrating this notable milestone with a series of special events, performances, and retrospective features throughout 2017.
This week the label announced the first in a series of 10 Year Anniversary performances in Halifax and Fredericton with The Olympic Symphonium performing their debut album Chapter 1 (FMG002) alongside a reunited Share, performing their album, Pedestrian (FMG005). The label will also be hosting a special FMG Revue during this year’s East Coast Music Awards.
